Land Use and Development Committee Meeting

The Land Use and Development Committee endeavors to implement the development guidelines established in the
Broad Ripple Village Plan (adopted by the Department of Metropolitan Development in November 2012) and submits recommendations to the BRVA board and Department of Metropolitan Development regarding zoning and planning issues and local and state boards and commissions regarding the issuance of alcoholic beverage permits.

I. Call to order and explanation of LU&DC's position on requests (6:00 p.m.)
 
II. Introductions of committee members and guests (6:00-6:05 p.m.)
 
III. Petitioner Presentations 

1. 6360 Guilford Avenue, Mary Solada representing Adam Hill regarding a variance of development standards for the consolidated zoning and subdivision ordinance to provide for a commercial office building within the clear sight triangle of the abutting streets, with a five-foot front yard setback from Main St. and a patio with railings having a two-foot front setbacks from Guilford Ave. and Main St. and deficient landscape yards (building not permitted within the clear sight triangle, 10-foot front yard setback, with six-foot landscaped yards required).Petition #2017-DV2-049 Hearing before the Board of Zoning Appeals Tuesday, March 13, 2018 (6:05-6:25)

2. 927/929 Westfield Boulevard, John Pantzer to present an update on the proposed development design and other options for the property. (6:25-6:45)
