Land Use and Development Committee Meeting

The Land Use and Development Committee endeavors to implement the development guidelines established in the
Broad Ripple Village Plan (adopted by the Department of Metropolitan Development in November 2012) and submits recommendations to the BRVA board and Department of Metropolitan Development regarding zoning and planning issues and local and state boards and commissions regarding the issuance of alcoholic beverage permits.

I. Call to order and explanation of LU&DC's position on requests (6:00 p.m.)
 
II. Introductions of committee members and guests (6:00-6:05 p.m.)
 
III. Petitioner Presentations 

1. 6320 College Avenue, Doug Staley with Staley Signs regarding a variance of development standards to provide for a 57-square foot wall sign (maximum three percent of the façade permitted) for this property. Petition # 2018-DV2-010 Hearing, Tuesday, June 12, 2018 (6:05-6:20)

2. 838 Broad Ripple Avenue, Joe Kahn owner of Condado Tacos to explain the changes made to the property. (6:20-6:35)

3. 6360 to 6340 Westfield Boulevard, Gary Weaver and Randy Sherman with Weaver Sherman Design regarding an update on final building design, landscaping, lighting and signage for The Line Urban Flats. (6:35-6:50)
