Land Use and Development Committee Meeting

The Land Use and Development Committee endeavors to implement the development guidelines established in the
Broad Ripple Village Plan (adopted by the Department of Metropolitan Development in November 2012) and submits recommendations to the BRVA board and Department of Metropolitan Development regarding zoning and planning issues and local and state boards and commissions regarding the issuance of alcoholic beverage permits.

AGENDA

I. Call to order and explanation of LU&DC's position on requests (6:00 p.m.)
 
II. Introductions of committee members and guests (6:00-6:05 p.m.)
 
III. Petitioner Presentations AMENDED 11/28/2018

1. Tom Healy regarding the apartments and transit oriented developments within the context of the six years of the Envision Broad Ripple Plan
2. Brian Tuohy with re-development of the old Marsh site at 62nd and Keystone Ave. Information only. No vote needed.
3. 6116 Guilford Avenue, David Kingen representing Mr.& Mrs. Lee regarding dividing the property into two parcels with single family homes on each piece. Variance petition #2018-DV3-049 continued to December 18, 2018 and the Plat petition #2018-PLT-078 continued to January 9, 2019. (6:05-6:20)

4. 6200 College and Carrollton Avenues, Tim Oaks with Ice Miller Legal Counsel regarding rezoning the properties of 6201, 6207, 6211, 6215 College and 6202, 6214, 6216, 6220 Carrollton for mixed use, commercial and residential. Hearing before the Metropolitan Development Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals has been continued. (6:20-6:35)
