The Land Use and Development Committee endeavors to implement the development guidelines established in the
Broad Ripple Village Plan (adopted by the Department of Metropolitan Development in November 2012) and submits recommendations to the BRVA board and Department of Metropolitan Development regarding zoning and planning issues and local and state boards and commissions regarding the issuance of alcoholic beverage permits.

AGENDA

I. Call to order and explanation of LU&DC's position on requests (6:00 p.m.)
 
II. Introductions of committee members and guests (6:00-6:05 p.m.)
 
III. Petitioner Presentations 

  • College & Broad Ripple Ave. - Keystone Group with a presentation and request for a vote on the Broad Ripple mixed use/Purdue Polytechnic High School project. (6:10-6:30 p.m.)
  • 6220 Carrollton Ave. - David Kingen representing Cairo Sands, LLC. requesting a variance of development standards to provide for a bar within 50 feet of a dwelling district. Hearing date: February 16, 2021 Case #2020-DV3-069 (6:30-6:50 p.m.)
  • 6108 Carvel Ave. - Brett Davis with Buckingham with a presentation only on a potential project for this parcel. (6:50-7:10 p.m.)
  • 1040 Broad Ripple Ave. - Misha Rabinowitch with a presentation only for an eight-unit townhome development proposed for this parcel. (7:10-7:30 p.m.)
