The Land Use and Development Committee endeavors to implement the development guidelines established in the
Broad Ripple Village Plan (adopted by the Department of Metropolitan Development in November 2012) and submits recommendations to the BRVA board and Department of Metropolitan Development regarding zoning and planning issues and local and state boards and commissions regarding the issuance of alcoholic beverage permits.

Presentations 
  • 6013 N College Avenue - Tuan Nguyen, the proprietor of 6013 N College Avenue, will deliver a comprehensive update from their previous presentation on March 26, 2024. Seeking additional input, Mr. Nguyen will discuss the proposed rezone of the property from D-5 to MU-2, with the intention of integrating a commercial aspect into the premises.
  • 6575 N College Avenue - Mark Demerly, with PAD Architecture, will deliver a presentation on behalf of a client intending to establish a Pastry Shop at 6575 N College Avenue. The primary aim of this presentation is to solicit additional input concerning their application for a variance related to land use and setback requirements.
